The adjustment and locking screws, with the plastic heads, did not please me more than that.

So I decided to remake it !

The screws will be stainless steel grub screws, turned to fit into anodized aluminum heads, and locked in place by three set screws.
Roughing of parts Roughing of heads in turning.
Milling of notches Notches milling.
Five notches will be milled in each screw head, for a good grip.
Finished parts The machining of the parts is finished (except for the broaching of the large button).
Anodized parts Anodized screw heads.
Mounted screws Special screws assembled.
The screws are now assembled. From top to bottom : - legs locking screws - CW locking screws - rings tightening screw - azimuth adjustment screws
