The rack pinion shaft will be drilled in its center and threaded M2.5. It will enter the output shaft of the reducer and will be secured to the latter by adhesion to a conical coupling, loaded by a central screw.
To do this, the gearbox has been dismantled. The output shaft, forced onto the last plate, has been driven out and shortened. But surprise at the moment of piercing it: too hard! Even by heating it with light orange and letting it cool, to soak it, nothing helped ! Undrillable ... So I was good at rebuilding a tree ...
The reducer was then reassembled, its flanges are force-fitted in the gear.
