The first image was that of the galaxy M101, and is a composite of 20 self-guided 10-minute exposures, on my modified NEQ5, in Gréolières.
The focal length was 1150mm and the imager was an undefiltered Canon EOS 400D.
The image is a bit noisy and pale, but the object is there !
But at F / 14 this is not surprising !
Ideally, I would have to make two or three identical images to stack them on top of the first and reach 80 exposures, to gain signal ...
An encouraging first result !
